Matrix has a small, focused lineup of treadmills, with two folding models (TF30, TF50) and three non-folding ones (T30, T50,T75). As such it’s much easier to make a decision as far as which one to choose for your home.
T30
The entry level T30 is the most affordable as well as one of the most popular models, with plenty of features and capabilities to satisfy even the most demanding customer.
You have a 20″ x 55″ belt, a powerful 3.0 CHP motor, up to 12% incline capability, up to 12.5 mph speed, Ultimate Deck impact reducing cushioning, the patented ViaFit workout tracking and a 350 lb. max weight capacity.
TF30
The Matrix TF30 is a folding version of the T30, with a stronger 3.25 CHP motor and more incline capability up to 15%. Otherwise the two treadmills are nearly identical.
TF50
The more advanced TF50 gives you everything the TF30 has plus a larger 20″ x 60″ deck and a higher maximum user weight capacity of 400 lbs.
T50
The T50 and the TF50 are essentially the same machine, except the T50 does not have folding capability. The T50 is a bit more compact and about 30 pounds lighter, but all of the features are identical.
T75
The Matrix T75 is the top of the line treadmill in the series, with the largest running surface: 22″ x 60″ and the most advanced AC motor. Otherwise it is very similar to the T50.
All of the Matrix treadmills feature rock solid construction, advanced cushioning, the powerful Johnson Drive System and ViaFit workout tracking.
You have a choice of three consoles on all four models: the basic 8.5″ XR display, the 10″ touch screen XER and the top-end 16″ HD touch screen XIR display.
The more advanced displays have built in videos, Bluetooth capability, smartphone and app integration and speaker systems.

As far as which one to buy, first figure out if you prefer a folding or a non-folding machine. Obviously if you need to store it post workout a folding treadmill is a better option.
If you are on the larger size opt for the larger deck size and higher max weight capacities of the TF50, T50 and T75.
When it comes to the consoles, you can get a lot more functionality from the XER and XIR touch screens, but if you want to save money and you’re OK with just a basic console the base XR is perfectly fine.
