Sole F80 Treadmill Review
Editor's Rating:

Overview
The Sole F80 Treadmill has been voted a Best Buy in its category for several years now, and for good reason. This model is a great improvement on the earlier version, with a larger running surface, more powerful motor and more vibrant LCD display.
The company has also recently added Bluetooth capability, so you can now track all of your workout results and sync them with your favorite fitness apps.
If you are in the market for a rock solid treadmill with great cushioning and diverse workout programs, the F80 is the one for you.

Sole F80 Treadmill - Best Features
Cushion Flex Whisper Deck
The Sole F80 features the Cushion Flex Deck which has been shown to reduce impact by as much as 40% compared with running outside. It’s the kind of running surface you typically find on much more expensive treadmills, and is surprisingly quiet even during heavy usage.
Heart Rate Monitoring
You can choose one of the two options to monitor your heart rate: the hand pulse grips or the wireless chest strap that is included for free. Monitoring wirelessly gives you a more accurate reading that will keep you in your ideal zone, especially with the two built-in cardio programs.
Diverse Workouts
The F80 offers 10 workouts: 2 User Defined programs, 2 Heart Rate Control and 6 Standard programs.
So you have a nice array of workouts to choose from, and even in manual mode you can ramp up the incline to an impressive 15%.

There is a track feature as well as a Peak and Valley graph so you can follow your workout to monitor your progress.
Sole recently partnered with Studio to offer more on-demand workouts with professional trainers, leaderboards and other cool features. It’s currently free for a month but then requires a monthly membership fee if you choose to continue.
Strong Durable Frame
Sole Fitness is know for the quality of their treadmills and ellipticals, and the F80 is no exception. It has a precision welded frame that can stand up to heavy usage, just like the ones you’ll find at the gym.
Easy Folding Design
The Sole F80 treadmill has special easy folding deck design, which happens with the touch of the release button. It makes storage very easy after your workouts, and will lock into place for safety.
Other Great Features
Some other nice touches include a strong, yet quiet 3.5 CHP motor, a 9″ LCD display with all of the relevant workout metrics, built-in speakers and workout tracking via Bluetooth technology.

I bought this treadmill for my wife in June. She is still very happy with her gift.
So just following up with you on the treadmill I purchased. I bought it from Dicks but they no longer carry that line there which makes me a little nervous as to why. But…
I decided to spend the little extra on the SOLE F80. We tried out numerous ones at the stores and when it came to bang for the buck this was the winner. With being more solid, better set up, more powerful engine, wider belt, better warranty, it was worth the additional cash for us.
I REALLY like my treadmill. I used one at the gym all the time so I knew what I wanted to have. It does pretty much everything… Has great sound (although the cord that came with it distorted it, we just spent a few bucks and bought a better audio cord. It’s got great sound now). It is very solid yet has some give when you run on it. We have run and walked and both been satisfied. The main differences between this treadmill and the more expensive ones at the gym is the rate at which you can change the speed. The Sole is a bit slower. And the noise. This treadmill is just a little bit louder. But at the cost difference those are VERY minimal.
I also like that you can preset a workout and then do it again the next day. There are drink holders on the top console. Some people said they were too low. There are ones below but there are also two additional that water bottles fit into on the top.
It is a very big and sturdy machine but it can also fold up with EXTREME ease. I do miss the camaraderie of working out in a gym, but overall I am EXTREMELY happy with my purchase and thank you for all of your great reviews.
If you have any more questions just let me know.
