We all know about the special Black Friday treadmill deals, as well as the savings you can get on Cyber Monday…but what about the rest of the year? Can you get the same savings at any other times?
Fortunately, the answer is yes….but you have to know where to look. We conducted a study to find out just how good the prices got on the top treadmill brands over the course of a year, and the results were quite promising for those that don’t take advantage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday treadmill deals for one reason or another.

1. Holiday time is always sale time for cardio equipment, and many other goods and services for that matter. So it’s a good idea to wait until the next holiday if possible to take advantage of some better prices. Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Christmas, Easter, Mother’s/Father’s Day…each of these special holidays come with special discounts. Sometimes you might even find better treadmill deals than you do during Black Friday or Cyber Monday, especially during the end of the model year. Which brings us to our next tip.
2. Oftentimes you will find some real bargains towards the end of the year when they start clearing out some of the older treadmills to make room for the new ones. NordicTrack is one of the treadmill companies that does this…every year they come out with several new models to replace the old ones, and they often discount the ones they are phasing out quite significantly. You might see these sales extend into the New Year, where they will really fire sale out the last few old models just to get rid of the extra inventory.
3. Know which brands offer the best deals. When it comes to treadmill deals, there are several companies that always offer special discounts, free shipping, giveaways and other sales. In addition to NordicTrack, you’ll find some nice discounts throughout the year, on ProForm, Horizon, Sole, Matrix and Bowflex. All of these companies have made our best treadmill list in one category or another, so they are worth looking at first to find some great sales.
4. We’ve seen some very good deals on treadmills even on random days when you might not expect. There are seasonal sales, end of school year sales, cold weather sales and so forth. You see these during some of the slower times as added incentives for people to make purchases they otherwise wouldn’t. The Summer months are some of the slowest of the year,m especially July and August. So if you’re in the market for a new treadmill you just might find an incredible bargain during those months.
