Question: My ProForm treadmill seems to be dragging and making noise. Not very many miles on it – easy fix?

Answer: I can offer some tips which will help if it’s not a serious problem causing the noise.

First, position your treadmill where there is space. This way the motor ventilation is not affected (and your motor doesn’t overheat, which leads to bad performance, including noise).

My second advice is to make sure the belt is not tighten too much. This could affect the speed of the belt.

The worst scenario I see is to have a problem with the motor which would need a technician’s attention. In this case you can use your warranty and contact the seller for more details.
